Maneki Ramen launches Crowdfunding campaign
Japanese restaurant brand Maneki Ramen has set up a Crowdfunding campaign, allowing fans to support the new Birmingham restaurant ahead of its spring opening.
By pledging funds towards the brand's second restaurant, guests unlock exclusive rewards including an experience at one of Guy Ritchie’s Wild Kitchens. Guests will join world-renowned Australian chefs Shannon Bennett (executive chef at Melbourne’s Vue de Monde) and judge on MasterChef Australia) and George Calombaris (long-term judge on MasterChef Australia) as they prepare a feast inspired by foraged ingredients, alongside Maneki Ramen’s head chef Pete Dovaston. The menu will be cooked over an open fire at Ritchie’s stunning Wiltshire Estate.
Rewards for at-home cooking kits, advanced copies of the restaurant’s first recipe book and aprons and T-shirts, produced in collaboration with High Dive Apparel, are available for £30.
Additional experiences include intimate dinners in collaboration with guest chefs including Jamie May (The Butcher’s Tap, Marlow) and the team from Matsudai Ramen (Cardiff).
Also available to pledge for is a wedding feast for 100 guests, featuring all the Maneki Ramen classic dishes, private dining experiences at Maneki Ramen and a Japanese cooking masterclass.
Maneki Ramen is part of the ART Hospitality group and has been serving authentic Japanese fare in Worcester since 2020. The Birmingham branch will open in a 2,000-square-foot site in the Jewellery Quarter.
