45 Park Lane prepares Governors Ball Oscars menu

Hollywood chef Wolfgang Puck has invited 45 Park Lane’s culinary director Elliott Grover to cook three signature British dishes for the 97th Oscars® Governors Ball in LA this March.

Joining Puck in his 31st year cooking at the biggest night in cinema, Grover’s dishes will showcase elevated British cooking, including a classic toad in the hole, traditional fish and chips and beef Wellington.

In collaboration with Wolfgang Puck Catering and chef Eric Klein, each dish embodies British culinary traditions alongside Puck's refined level of service for Hollywood's most anticipated celebration.

Grover joined 45 Park Lane as executive chef in 2022, overseeing the hotel's culinary direction. Speaking of the Governors Ball dishes, Grover comments: “I am incredibly honoured to be bringing classic British dishes to the event for a third year with Wolfgang, especially celebrating his 31st year cooking for the awards. And to present the dishes here at 45 Park Lane from February will be sure to bring a taste of the night to London.”

The menu is available to experience in London exclusively at 45 Park Lane until 9 March, served in BAR45 alongside a specially crafted cocktail created by bar manager Enrico Perri.

All proceeds from the BAR45 menu will be donated to the Motion Picture & Television Fund’s Wildfire Relief Fund, which supports those working in the entertainment industry impacted by wildfires across the region.
