TRGC launches largest Sanfords at Luton airport

TRGC, a leading UK travel hub hospitality operator owned by The Restaurant Group, has announced the grand opening of Sanfords – an American-style dining destination at London Luton Airport (LLA).

The 480-seat, 12,810 sq ft establishment stands as both TRGC's largest concession and the most extensive restaurant in any UK airport.

The Sanfords experience

Positioned across two floors within LLA's departures lounge, Sanfords offers a comprehensive dining experience in a spacious venue. The ground floor houses the American Diner concept, with signature offerings including Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes and an American interpretation of the Classic Fry Up for breakfast. The afternoon menu features specialty items such as the Sanfords Loaded Dog, Cheeseburger Pizza and Philly Cheesesteak Po' Boy.

The mezzanine level features the Loft Bar, offering an extensive drink selection and dining options ranging from Sausage and Bacon Breakfast Muffins to Buttermilk Fried Chicken and the signature Crispy CLB Sandwich.

TRGC developed this new proprietary brand and concept to fill a gap in the concessions space for an attainable yet inspirational Pan-American brand, making its debut at LLA. Built upon a 20-year collaborative relationship, this opening is their most substantial joint project to date.

Jon Knight, CEO of TRGC, comments: "The launch of Sanfords represents a significant milestone for TRGC, and we are pleased to welcome passengers to this exceptional location. Opening not only our largest site to date, but also the most extensive of its kind in the UK travel arena, is a proud achievement that reflects the dedication and vision of the TRGC team."
