Dishoom listed in Glassdoor's 50 best places to work

Glassdoor has released its top 50 Best Places to work list for 2022, with Indian restaurant chain Dishoom landing in the rankings as a brand-new entry this year.

Dishoom has placed 12th out of the 50 listed firms, with the outcome based on the results of Glassdoor's Employee Choice Awards. The awards are steered by employee feedback submitted via the job site, including larger companies with more than 75 ratings, and 30 ratings for smaller firms.

Survey respondents were asked to rate nine factors relating to their workplace, including career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, diversity and inclusion, senior management, work-life balance, recommend to a friend, six-month business outlook and overall rating.

Only two hospitality businesses made this year's list, with the other being fast-casual chain Nando's, which comes in at 34 despite being a much larger multinational company. In terms of the other entries, 19 of the top 50 corporations are tech firms, five are from the finance sector and four are consultancies.

Christian Sutherland-Wong, CEO of Glassdoor, comments: "The world of work is rapidly evolving, fuelled by the pandemic and now millions of workers reevaluating their expectations of employers. This year's Best Places to Work winners are leading the way by listening and responding to employee feedback and reimagining the employee experience to truly put their people first."
