Libertine Burger eyes up national expansion

Warwickshire-based burger brand Libertine Burger is looking to grow nationally following the move of its flagship venue to a brand-new home.

The company already has branches in Leamington Spa and Rugby, but is moving to a bigger premises in the region as it prepares to launch new branches across the country.

Since joining the hospitality industry in 2016, when the team served guests from a converted Renault Master, Libertine has grown a strong West Midlands following, but the brand now hopes to bring its burgers to other UK destinations.

Having won the Blogger's Choice Awards in the 2019 National Burger Awards – an event run by Dine Out Magazine – Libertine Burger has built a solid reputation on the UK burger scene. Such is the brand's success that the team launched a range of DIY burger kits last year, which are currently available for delivery nationwide.

"We've spent five years building the foundations of a business that has not only weathered the storm of a difficult period, but has continued to grow and serve our customers both locally and further afield," says company founder Charles Harris.

"The introduction of our delivery kits during the pandemic allowed people across the country to enjoy our burgers, but our local customers will always be close to our hearts. We are thrilled to be able to offer them even more space in Leamington, along with the added bonus of the sapce to install more technology to make our operation more efficient and scope to expand.

"The new Leamington restaurant is the product of months of planning and will form the blueprint for what we're planning will be a national rollout of Libertine Burger, so people across the country can enjoy our trademark burgers without having to cook them themselves."
