Fourth Olive Tree Brasserie launches in Leeds next month
Greek restaurant brand The Olive Tree Brasserie launches in Leeds next month, joining existing branches in Lytham, Chester and Stockton Heath as the group eyes up further Northern expansion.
The new Leeds venue marks a new chapter for Olive Tree's vision, following a £700,000 investment in South Parade.
With a focus on sustainability and a 40% plant-based offering, signature dishes include gyros, lamb kleftiko, moussaka, kebabs and dolmades, as well as lesser-known Greek dishes such as honey pastourma (a cured beef sausage). A variety of menus will be available, from the à la carte and a prix fixe to the bottomless brunch. The venue will host resident DJs on weekends, with an extensive cocktail menu also on offer.
The restaurant will serve Greek coffee, beers and rare spirits such as Mastiha. Signature serves include the Mastiha Mojito, the Olive Tree Espressotini and the Cranberry & Clementine Sangria.
Executive chef Aaron Thomas comments: "We're so excited to bring our modern Greek food experience to Leeds. Thirty new staff members will ensure we settle into our new Leeds home nicely, alongside our longstanding, passionate team.
"Greece is a part of the Med, renowned for its back-to-basics focus on the best tastes, served up with simplicity and warmth. Combining this with our focus on stylish decor and relaxed vibes, we think Olive Tree Brasserie is the place to be. Let us whisk you away from a rainy autumn day and bring some summer to your soul!"
